Pilates is a total body workout with a strong emphasis on strengthening and stabilising the core muscles which support the lumbar spine. Pilates can be adapted to suit people of every age and level of fitness. Stabilising and strengthening your “Core” with Pilates training will allow your body to move effortlessly and more efficiently, with a greater base of support.
A TYPICAL CLASS
Through a series of movements to develop, strength, flexibility and core strength. This 55 minute class creates a sense of satisfaction you can take home.
Your instructor will ensure you are warmed-up, with and increasing range of moves. Then work through a range of movements ensuring a full workout of both on your upper, then lower body. Finally, as you call down you will have time to recover and stretch, and congratulate yourself inner self on a job well done.
